British Canoeing Foundation Safety Rescue Training (FSRT)

This training course is intended for all paddler, coaches and volunteers irrespective of craft or discipline choice. It provides training on key skills needed to operate safely and deal with common emergencies in a sheltered water environment.

How much? £50 per person  £80 non-members.

British Canoeing - Paddlesport Instructor Award

The Paddlesport Instructor is aimed at those running taster/starter session and short journeys in very sheltered water environments, within the safety management systems of clubs/centres or other organisations.

British Canoeing - Paddlesport Canoe Award

The canoe award is for paddlers looking to develop and progress their canoeing skills or looking for recognition of their existing skills.

Canoe award endorses your skills, judgement and decision making when journeying. You will be confident in planning and undertaking canoe journeys on the water in winds up to force 3 taking place on grade 1 rivers with simple eddy lines.

British Canoeing - Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Sheltered Water

SUP Sheltered Water Award will give you the ability to organise and carry out an enjoyable and safe trip on the water up to 200 metres from shore, up to force 3 in winds.
