RYA Powerboat Level 2 with B1 Permit Assessment (16+)

This is a two-day course covering launching, recovery, boat handling, securing to a buoy, anchoring, leaving, coming alongside and man overboard.

How much? £135 per person.

Where and when?

When completing your Powerboat course, we may also be able to assess you for a B1 permit. Please contact us to discuss this in advance.

Rock Climber Instructor Training

The Rock Climber Instructor Award (formerly Single Pitch Award) is the nationally recognised qualification for taking groups top rope climbing on natural rock. You must have registered with Mountain Training and completed the prerequisites specified on the Mountain Training website to be eligible for this course.

The Rock Climbing Instructor (formerly Single Pitch Award) course is three days, not the two days of the SPA. The training prices have increased from those previously advertised to reflect the additional day.

Where: Yr Hafod  Scout Adventures Yr Hafod is a Mountain Training Cymru provider and delivers courses based from Yr Hafod.

How much? £175 member and £310 non-members

Rock Climber Instructor Assessment
