Scouts Activity Centre Service

There are so many ways to help out at the centre, including manning the office and assisting guests, working on wildlife conservation projects and helping with activity equipment maintenance. To complete the badge, Scouts need to spend five days at one of our centres (these don’t have to be consecutive).

How much? £40 per person.

Where and when? All Scout Adventure Centres except Yr Hafod and Crawfordsburn. All year. Please contact your chosen centre.  

Scouts Adventure Challenge

Choose from a huge list of adventurous activities and give them your best shot. Scouts will get to experience each activity twice, to see how far their team has come.

How much? £40 per person

Where and when? All year and at all centres, excluding Yr Hafod and Crawfordsburn unless otherwise stated. Please contact your chosen centre.


Scouts British Canoeing Paddle Power Passport

Build paddling skills in canoes or kayaks over two days with this course, which follows the British Canoeing syllabus. The skills learned count towards the Paddle Sports and Time On The Water Staged Activity Badges.

Where? Great Tower April to October, Hawkhirst all year.
