Scout Adventures Ambassadors
What is a Scout Adventures Ambassador?
The role of an Ambassador is to help raise awareness of the Scout Adventures Volunteer Programme in underrepresented countries. This means countries which have less than 10% representation on the volunteer programme. This is a really important role as it helps us to reach new people and inspire them to participate in our programme. The sorts of things Ambassadors do includes:
• Attending events to talk about our work and encourage others to get involved.
• Sharing information about the volunteer programme on social media.
• Offering advice to new volunteers or people thinking about volunteering.
• Keep in touch with other Ambassadors and be part of the Scout Adventures family.
Who can apply to be an Ambassador?
- You must be a current volunteer at any of the Scout Adventures centres
- You must be from a country which has less than 10% representation on the volunteer programme.
- You must have a recommendation from your Adventure Experience Manager
