Yr Hafod is both a training centre and an ideal venue for introducing young people to the outdoors. We deliver Mountain Training qualifications including Mountain Leader, Hill & Moorland Leader, and Rock-Climbing instructor, alongside navigation skills, and Terrain 1 and 2 permits, and offer DofE Gold Expedition support. With immediate access to varied terrains suited for all skill levels – from gentle walks to challenging peaks – and stunning lakes just minutes away, we provide the perfect base for a variety of skills development and assessment.
