The Lake District is home to Scafell Pike (England's highest Mountain), Wast Water (England's deepest lake) and thriving communities like Keswick and Ambleside.

FACILITIES AND ACCOMMODATION
Camp or lodge? We've got it all.
On-site camping
With camping areas set across 250 acres, there’s plenty of space for groups large and small. There are camping areas close to the centre of the site, as well as ones in more secluded areas. Camping areas include Spruce Grove, Woodwards, Yule, Juniper, Tower, Baines and Barrow Banks, Calf Ledge or Craghill.
On-site accommodation
We have 5 lodges of various shapes and sizes all of which come complete with fully equipped kitchens
and separate communal/dining areas.
Chadburn Tented Village
Our tented village is made up of 4m bell tents for up to five young people and 3m bell tents for two adults and comes complete with comfortable mattresses, electric lanterns and storage boxes. There’s also a group tent with tables, benches and lighting and a separate mess tent with a functional kitchen. In the centre is a private campfire circle. Overall offering space for thirty young people and four adults in 10 bell tents. Available to book from Easter to October.

It's your experience, so you're in charge. We believe that you should play a key role in designing your experience. To help, we have four basic products as a starting point:


Original outdoor experience
Immersed in the outdoors, young people will learn skills, work as a team and develop a sense of responsibility.
1-4 nights in our tented village.
Why? Learn new skills, promote team work.


Outdoor adventure
Young people are invited to paddle, climb and think their way through a series of exciting challenges, from canoeing and archery to high ropes and orienteering.
1-4 nights in our lodges or tented village.
Why? Form strong working relationships between teachers and pupils; develop initiative and self-reliance.


Adventure 50:50
Split your time between self-led sessions and instructed activities. We can help you meet your learning objectives by providing activities, skills or simply the space you need.
2-4 nights, full board accommodation in our lodges.
Why? Mix of teacher time and structured activities.


Ultimate outdoor adventure
A real sense of adventure, sailing vast lakes, summiting mountain peaks and crawling through caves, challenges don't get much more exciting than this.
1-4 night residential in the Lake District, with full board accommodation either indoors or in our tented village.
Why? Inspiring experience showing the value of working towards a goal.
