16 Hour First Aid Course - Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Outdoor First Aid

Would you know how to provide effective first aid in an emergency? This course is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who have a responsibility to provide first aid in outdoor and activity based environments.

This course can be classed as a Full and First Response First Aid Certificate within Scouting and is ideal for running adventurous activities. It is also recognised by NGB's such as Mountain Training as well as meeting the standards set by the Institute of Outdoor Leaning at Tier 3. 

The training you'll receive over the two days is practical, hands-on and takes place outdoors at Gilwell Park. No prior first aid experience is required, and all equipment will be provided. Just bring your enthusiasm to learn!

Who:

This course is open to both members and non-members. Attendees must be aged 18 and over at the start of the course. 

How much:

Early bird - £155 per person (Available until 8 weeks prior to the course).

Standard - £185 per person.

Accommodation:

Free camping is available. You can upgrade to shared accommodation in the White House for only an additional £25 per night. This comes with the use of a small kitchen with the following amenities: fridge, hot water, vending machines and microwaves. 

Food:

You will need to bring food for the whole course. Please make a packed lunch as you may not be at your accommodation for lunch.

Bedding is provided with our indoor accommodation, but you do need to bring a towel. The kitchen will have everything you need for preparing and eating your meals.

Archery GB Instructor course

The Archery GB Instructor Course trains and assesses leaders to deliver fun and safe introductory archery sessions with guidance on how to apply this within Scouting. The course will be delivered by Feathers and Fletchings and a Scout Archery Permit recommendation can be made at the end of the course.

The training you'll receive over the two days is practical, hands-on and takes place outdoors at Gilwell Park. No prior archery experience is required, and all equipment will be provided. Just bring your enthusiasm to learn!

Completion of the course will result in a certificate sent to you by Archery GB as well as a recommendation for a permit, but the permit itself is granted locally. Permits can be restricted depending on individual performance so that archery can still be delivered, but only under specific circumstances.

This course is open to both members and non-members. Attendees must be aged 18 and over at the start of the course.

Early bird - £230 per person (Available until 8 weeks prior to the course). 

Standard - £250 per person.
