Archery GB Instructor course

The Archery GB Instructor Course trains and assesses leaders to deliver fun and safe introductory archery sessions with guidance on how to apply this within Scouting. The course will be delivered by Feathers and Fletchings and a Scout Archery Permit recommendation can be made at the end of the course.

The training you'll receive over the two days is practical, hands-on and takes place outdoors at Gilwell Park. No prior archery experience is required, and all equipment will be provided. Just bring your enthusiasm to learn!

Completion of the course will result in a certificate sent to you by Archery GB as well as a recommendation for a permit, but the permit itself is granted locally. Permits can be restricted depending on individual performance so that archery can still be delivered, but only under specific circumstances.
