Scout Adventures is run on a not-for-profit basis and is operated by The Scout Association, the UK’s leading youth charity in the UK. All Scout Adventure profits are reinvested into supporting outdoor adventure for young people and adult volunteers, and protecting our Scout Adventures site’s natural landscape for future generations. In line with Scout values (care, respect, integrity, cooperation, exploring our own and others’ beliefs) we believe in preparing young people with skills for life, creating better futures.
Our centres offer a truly unique multi-cultural experience to every group that visits. Each year, over 120 volunteers from all around the world join our renowned international residential programme. In return, they are trained to deliver activities and adventures alongside our professional staff teams that engage, challenge, inspire, and help create memories for young people!

Outdoors or in - it's your choice.
On-site camping
Ideal for camping with a wide range of areas on-site to accommodate camps of all sizes from a small group to a large-scale camp of 2,500+ people. Many of our camping sites also have fire spots and we can provide altar fires for you to fully immerse yourself in your camping experience.
Equipment hire
We have benches and tables available for hire to save you lugging them with you!
Tented Village
Why worry about having to bring lots of bulky equipment with you? Our tented village takes care of all the hard work for you (well, most of it anyway!). Our tented village is a horseshoe of tents already pitched for you, complete with comfy mattress pads. There’s also a group tent with tables, benches, lighting and a basic camp kitchen. It’s a great alternative to the standard camping experience or even staying in a lodge. Mix it up a bit and book a different option each time you visit. Available to book from May to October.
Indoor accommodation
Choose Broadstone Lodge if you're looking for an easy, comfortable stay indoors. Sleeping 44 people, the lodge also has a kitchen and hall, toilets and showers, and a drying room.
Room hire
We're renovating the Log Cabin and its kitchen facilities, so watch this space! It'll be a great space for self-led classroom time, indoor activities, or for catering if you're camping with us.
