Help us deliver amazing events to our members
Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do at Scout Adventures. They play a vital role in making our events successful and memorable for our members.
Whether you are looking to gain some valuable event experience, to give back to Scouts, or simply get involved and have fun, there's an event volunteering role for you. We truly value every volunteer's time, energy and enthusiasm.
Throughout 2026 and beyond we'll be delivering a wide range of exciting events at Broadstone Warren, Gilwell Park, Great Tower and Youlbury - and we'd love you to be part of the team!
From large scale seasonal celebrations to smaller events, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved. View our current list of events here, with even more exciting experiences still to be confirmed.
What volunteer roles are available?
We offer a broad range of event volunteering opportunities to suit all interests, abilities and experience levels. Whether you enjoy working behind the scenes or engaging directly with participants, there's something for everyone!
We'd love to hear from volunteers wo are part of, or interested in supporting, the following teams: Bushscout, Camping Space Team, Check-In/ Info Centre, Event Build, General Event Volunteer, Infrastructure, Kitchen/ CIC, KSWP, Permitted Activity Support, Programme, Really Useful Team, Scout Content, Scout Med, Scout Radio, Traffic Management.
We're also keen to hear from permit holders who can support the delivery of deliver activity sessions to young people across our events.

How do I get involved?
To get started, simply complete our Event Volunteering expression of interest forms for the centre you would like to volunteer at. This will help us understand your skills and interests. Once submitted, a member of the events team will be in touch with next steps and suitable opportunities.

Volunteer for Fundays at Gilwell Park
We’re on the look out for enthusiastic, hands-on volunteers (aged 18+) to help bring Fundays to life at Gilwell Park.
Taking place on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 June 2026, Fundays is a lively, high-energy event designed for Squirrels, Beaves, Cubs, Rainbows and Brownies packed with outdoor adventure, fun and discovery. Whether you can support for a full day, the whole weekend or just a few hours, your time will make a real difference. Food, refreshments and accommodation (if required) will be provided.
Love the buzz of a big event? Enjoy working as part of a friendly team? Happy to get stuck in and help things run smoothly? Then we’d love to hear from you. We’re looking for volunteers to support with traffic, check in, activity support, general event deliver and helping visitors have a brilliant day.
